Capri-Napoli 2025: 3rd open competition - 27th June

---ITA: Parla turco la terza prova open della Capri-Napoli, la maratona del golfo organizzata dalla società Eventualmente Eventi & Comunicazione di Luciano Cotena. La traversata svoltasi ieri e iniziata da Le Ondine Beach Club di Marina Piccola per concludersi nelle acque antistanti il Circolo Canottieri, infatti ha fatto registrare il successo dei nuotatori provenienti da Istanbul, Ozkan Dizar tra gli uomini e Aybige Su Ircag tra le donne. Storie parallele (sono compagni di allenamento e sono arrivati a Napoli nello stesso momento) ma hanno scelto modalità di gara diverse. Dizar è abituato alle grandi imprese, avendo nuotato diverse gare fino a 10 chilometri ed essendo detentore di alcuni record di categoria in piscina: “Ma sono più abituato a volare – sorride – lavorando con la Turkish Airlines. Ero alla prima traversata di questa lunghezza: mentalmente ero preparato ma poi le condizioni del mare mi hanno fatto cambiare strategia. Nelle prime tre ore ho trovato condizioni ideali, poi abbiamo iniziato ad affrontare le onde. In tutta onestà, mi sarei aspettato un riscontro cronometrico migliore (8.39.10), ma ora sono pronto per riprovarci nei prossimi anni”.
Alle spalle del turco lo spagnolo Mateos Ioseba (8.39.35) e il brasiliano Andre Leao Baptista (8.44.15). Sorridente all’arrivo Aybige Su Ircag, giunta col tempo di 8.49.14: “Una gara bellissima – le sue prime parole – ma anche faticosa. Finora non avevo mai nuotato oltre i 15 km. Il mare era mosso e in alcuni tratti difficile da domare, ma per il resto è andata tutto secondo le previsioni”.
Viene invece da Crotone la staffetta in grado di primeggiare nella prova a squadre. Si tratta della Kr Swin (composta da Fabio Milizia, Luca Vrenna e Luigi D’Alfonso), che ha domato gli avversari arrivando vicinissimo al record assoluto della traversata per squadre composte da tre elementi: 8.10.44 il tempo dei calabresi, sopra di soli 31” rispetto al primato detenuto dalla Neptune Club. “Ci siamo dati cambi regolari – affermano i componenti – prima con tratte più lunghe, poi progressivamente con frazioni sempre più corte fino a giungere al traguardo. Sapevamo di poter ambire al record e abbiamo dato il massimo, anche in memoria del nostro amico Nicola, che avrebbe dovuto fare parte dell’altro nostro team della Kr Swin in gara, venuto prematuramente a mancare un mese fa”.

Behind the Turk were the Spaniard Mateos Ioseba (8.39. 35) and the Brazilian Andre Leao Baptista (8.44. 15). Aybige Su Ircag was smiling at the finish line, arriving with a time of 8.49.14: “A beautiful race – her first words – but also tiring. Up until now I had never swum beyond 15 km. The sea was rough and in some parts difficult to tame, but for the rest everything went according to plan”. The relay team that was able to excel in the team event instead comes from Crotone. It is the Kr Swin (made up of Fabio Milizia, Luca Vrenna and Luigi D’Alfonso), who tamed their opponents, arriving very close to the absolute record of the crossing for teams made up of three elements: 8.10.44 was the time of the Calabrians, only 31” above the record held by the Neptune Club. “We gave ourselves regular changes – the members say – first with longer sections, then progressively with increasingly shorter fractions until reaching the finish line. We knew we could aim for the record and we gave it our all, also in memory of our friend Nicola, who should have been part of our other Kr Swin team in the race, who passed away prematurely a month ago”.​
