Capri-Napoli 2025: 3rd open competition - 27th June

---ITA: Quella che andrà in scena venerdì 27 giugno è la più affollata tra le quattro prove open della Capri-Napoli, le sfide in mare aperto che precedono la tradizionale maratona del golfo, quest’anno giunta alla 60esima edizione. Al via da Le Ondine Beach Club di Marina Grande saranno infatti in 41 (34 uomini e sette donne), chiamati a completare la traversata di 36 chilometri che li separerà dal traguardo, posizionato nelle acque antistanti il Circolo Canottieri Napoli.
Una bella sfida organizzativa per la società Eventualmente Eventi & Comunicazione di Luciano Cotena, che nelle quattro giornate dedicate alle gare di qualificazione ospiterà quasi 140 atleti.
Restando alla prova di venerdì prossimo, otto saranno i protagonisti nel Solo, altri due si cimenteranno nella sfida natatoria nel duo e gli altri saranno suddivisi in complessive sei staffette. Cinque le nazioni partecipanti, in rappresentanza di tre continenti: oltre all’Italia sono infatti iscritti atleti provenienti da Australia, Brasile, Spagna e Turchia.
Come già avvenuto per le prime due prove, anche stavolta gli appassionati che vorranno seguire la competizione in tempo reale, potranno farlo attraverso la tracciatura integrale Gps, che permetterà di sapere in ogni momento dove si trovano ogni atleta e team, oltre a fornire varie informazioni e statistiche costantemente aggiornate.
Le competizioni open anticipano la prova élite, valida come World Challenge della UltraMarathon Swim Series: alla gara ufficiale, in programma sabato 6 settembre, sono al momento già iscritti i migliori 25 atleti mondiali di specialità.

---ENG: The one that will take place on Friday 27 June is the most crowded of the four open trials of the Capri-Naples, the open sea challenges that precede the traditional gulf marathon, which this year has reached its 60th edition. Starting from Le Ondine Beach Club in Marina Grande, there will be 41 athletes (34 men and seven women), called to complete the 36 kilometre crossing that will separate them from the finish line, located in the waters in front of the Circolo Canottieri Napoli.
A great organizational challenge, which in the four days dedicated to the qualifying races will host almost 140 athletes.
Staying with the trial next Friday, eight will be protagonists in the Solo, another two will compete in the swimming challenge in the duo and the others will be divided into a total of six relays. Five nations will participate, representing three continents: in addition to Italy, athletes from Australia, Brazil, Spain and Türkiye are registered.
As was the case for the first two races, this time too, fans who want to follow the competition in real time will be able to do so through the full GPS tracking, which will allow them to know at any time where each athlete and team are, as well as providing various information and statistics that are constantly updated.
The open competitions precede the elite race, valid as the World Challenge of the UltraMarathon Swim Series: the best 25 world athletes in each specialty have already registered for the official race, scheduled for Saturday 6 September.
