These are the numbers of the three open competitions of the Capri-Naples 2022, scheduled for June 24, July 1 and July 8, an important viaticum for the Pharmacosm trophy for professionals, the gulf marathon now in its 57th edition and scheduled for Sunday 4 September.
After two years characterized by the restrictions linked to the pandemic, the open trials return to the numbers of 2019, with entrants ready to challenge each other in the solo race (where up for grabs for those who will swim under 7 hours and 30 'among men and 7.40 among women there is the qualification for the official race), duo and relay. The nations represented are Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Mexico, United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the USA, in addition to Italy. It starts on June 24 with 31 swimmers in the water. Among the athletes involved in the relay also the Argentine Claudio Plit, record holder in terms of participation in the official race (15, a record shared with fellow countryman Damian Blaum).
