 ---ITA: Mare mosso, pioggia e perfino grandine: hanno dovuto affrontare condizioni meteomarine proibitive i nuotatori che venerdì 8 luglio hanno preso parte alla terza e ultima prova open della Capri-Napoli 2022, le gare che hanno fatto da preludio al trofeo Farmacosmo, quest’anno in programma domenica 4 settembre. Sin dalla partenza da Le Ondine Beach Club di Capri, i nuotatori hanno dovuto infatti fare i conti con il mare mosso, che ha reso particolarmente difficile la traversata di 36 chilometri fino al traguardo posto nella acque antistanti il Circolo Nautico Posillipo. Nel corso della gara, poi, gli atleti hanno dovuto fronteggiare anche la pioggia, in alcuni tratti trasformatasi in grandine. Avversità che hanno reso la prova una sorta di gara ad eliminazione, nella quale ha trionfato la coppia composta dalla statunitense Hu Edie e dal rappresentante del Regno Unito Allan Mc Paerson, la prima 47 anni, il secondo 35, che hanno completato la difficile traversata in 9 ore 27’ 57”. Gli altri nuotatori impegnati nella prova Solo e gli atleti inseriti nelle quattro staffette al via (Ab Team, Caimani di Mincio, Water World Swin e Tma) si sono invece dovuti piegare alla forza delle intemperie. L’ultima a cedere è stata la messicana Aby Ortega, giunta fuori tempo massimo. Adversities that made the test a sort of elimination race, in which the couple made up of the American Hu Edie and the representative of the United Kingdom Allan Mc Paerson triumphed, the first 47 years old, the second 35, who completed the difficult crossing in 9 hours 27 '57 ". The other swimmers involved in the Solo test and the athletes included in the four relays at the start (Ab Team, Caimani di Mincio, Water World Swin and Tma) instead had to bend to the force of the weather. The last to surrender was the Mexican Aby Ortega, who came out of time.
